v0.2 New Game Mode, Tutorial, SFX, Polish!


Major update:

  • Features:
    • Tutorial level
    • Hittable dummy in Tutorial Level
    • FFA game mode (only 1 stage and no visual scorekeeping yet but it does keep score)
    • Respawning is now independent of a "respawn point" (removed old spawn points)
  • Polish:
    • New respawn animation
    • Are you sure you want to delete your account choice
    • Only ask to go to tutorial if a player's playtime is under 5 seconds
    •  Made box hurt scaling animation a bit better
    •  You can now go back to the menu with escape/b button and removed back button in LocalConnector screen
    •  Added a special icon display to all player icons 
    •  Special bar has been removed. It is now seen on the icon itself. 
    •  Added official support for left/right arrows on choosers (they appear/disappear accordingly now)
    •  Added a slight pulse effect to gamepad button UI
    •  Team select screen only appears if the gamemode has teams

    • Redid team introductions to work with FFA game mode

    • Fixed respawn points not being correctly reserved 
    • Fixed where rolling off a cliff and respawning retained your rolling movement speed 
    • Fixed where player wouldn't stick to moving platform while it was decending 
    • Fixed where explosion sound wouldn't play when missile didn't hit anything
    • Fixed where boxes didn't have friction on the ground
    • Fixed where boxes particles gameobjects weren't getting destroye
    • KillFeed and KillFeedText now handles multiple messages at once and is reliable
    • Fixed where game end screen was empty when ending the match before the game started
